Northumberland National Bank – Selinsgrove

Client: Northumberland National Bank
Location: Selinsgrove, PA

The client requested the design style of this branch complement their other buildings, while still fitting into the architectural fabric of Selinsgrove.  We took this colonial look and added traditional details for a modern building with a sense of traditionalism.  One aspect of the colonial style was the exterior brick that was selected.  Specific details utilizing brick are pillars, coin corners, offset bands, and a herringbone brick arch in the rear.

Helping add to the contrast of the building, the precast concrete banding and keystone archway in front were utilized.  Each side of the main portion of the bank has two false chimneys flanking it.  This is to mimic the old colonial homes that needed fireplaces on each end for heat circulation.  The drive thru resembles the old carriage houses that were prevalent during the colonial era.  For the interior we coordinated with an Interior Designer to provide a warm and inviting look.
