Bucknell University – Bertrand Library – Interior Renovations

Client: Bucknell University
Location: Lewisburg, PA

The main goal for this renovation project is to re-brand the Main Entry into the Library with a design more fitting the architecture of the campus.  A second aspect is to create a new 24-hour study space that can double during the day as home for the Student Learning Center.  A ‘One Button Studio’ on the Second Floor is a final aspect of the design.

The interior design is carried all the way through selection, bidding and procurement of furnishings.  Some custom millwork pieces include a nesting table/bench that student groups can use for daily ‘club’ solicitations, etc.  Replacing the constant folding table/chair set-up that exists currently.  New display cases harken shelving in the original sections of the Library itself.
